What are Web Series? Who watches them? Where are they viewed?
Web series have taken a life of their own in our rapidly changing world of technology. How viewers watch their favorite shows: TV, online or on their phones, and where they receive the content: traditional advertising, Facebook, Twitter, will continue to change.
That’s why web series developers like myself are coming together in a community of close friends and colleagues to share ideas and content with the growing number of creators and viewers.
Web Series Network Chairman (and friend) Rich Mbariket foresaw the expansion of web series’ when he developed Web Series Network the premier social networking site for web series fans, creators, enthusiasts, and many other creative professionals making content exclusively for the world wide web. Web Series Network also develops, produces and distributes original web content and consults for clients!
The Latest mission for Rich and Web Series Network is The Web Series Awareness Tour 2010 happening this Sunday, April 11. Rich and his team will be driving from city to city in So. California, talking to people on the road about the emerging web series culture and informing them of the content available via the web. The tour will be filmed, edited to 3 minute webisodes and uploaded to Youtube and webseriesnetwork.com.
This tour marks the beginning of Web Series Network offline promotions literally delivering the web series culture and webseriesnetwork.com into people’s hands.
