And the Winner Goes to…My Crew! If you are not quite sure what the Streamy Awards are, they have been compared to the Oscar’s of Web Series.  In it’s 2nd year, last night’s award ceremony was not quite the Oscars, however host Paul Scheer, made up for it in his quick wit and humorous intention to keep the audience on his side.  Which won me over. You can see the list of winners here, however, I cannot help but think they should add a few more categories to the Streamy’s,... Read→

Beautiful people making beautiful music. That’s what I think when I hear the sounds of Svelt St., whose song “It’s Going To Be A Late Night (IAMGUS RMX)” was featured in Party Girl Plus One’s EP 6 “The Big Squeeze”. I found Svelt St. off myspace about 6 months ago and have had their page bookmarked on my mac ever since.  “Po’ Boy” off their second LP “Hello, Dear” is what really caught my attention.  It is a combination of... Read→

When you mention the word web series to people and they look at you cross-eyed, you might want to ask them where they have been the last 10+ years (at the very least). Web series, short form content delivered to the viewer via the web (Party Girl Plus One is one of many examples), has been around since 1996 according to my pal Brett Love’s Webisode Clack: Grape Jam and the LA Webfest. In Brett’s article, he states  “According to a December ‘96 issue of Websight magazine…the... Read→

ABOUT PARTY GIRL PLUS ONE

Follow the funny stories of my ACTUAL DATING DIARY as I narrate what we all do right or wrong in looking for love. The episodes you are about to see are BASED ON REAL STORIES that ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

The show takes off from a very simple premise. After a divorce, Jen has to start dating again. A series of strange and awkward outings prompt her to start keeping a diary. Party Girl Plus One is a look at that diary, as each episode is a self contained recount of the engagements.

Through narration, each 4 minute episode chronicles the different social, cultural, religious and/or economic (to name a few) obstacles Jen faces on her quest for true love, proving no one is exempt from their own dating neurosis including Jen herself.

Party Girl Plus One is a web series with short funny videos that chronicle funny dating and relationship stories focusing on what went right or wrong on the date.
